Hey there. I have a 2001 Mutsubishi Galant and recently the battery got disconnected. Now my stereo is requesting a security code. I called a place and they said I'm going to have to remove the stereo and will charge me for it. I am really scared that if the stereo gets pulled out, it'll never work the same again. Call your nearest Dealership, have your VIN number ready and they also might ask you the serial number for the stereo which is on top of the radio so u havta pull it out a little to see it, They will give you the code and tell you how to put it in
