having big trouble replacing gearbox live in australia tassie none in aus that i can find bought the last 1 and it was shot and got ripped off 1800 dollars does any one know wherei can purchase a second hand one or alternitaley a turbo box with diff cheers jeffc :57:

I'm sure we would have a few floating around here if you want to export to OZ. Try this wreakers online to see what they come up with. Its a bit of a gamble on what condition you get though.

it might pay you to check if any other mitsubishi models had same gearbox fitted,as i know my rvr 1830 is same engine as lancer and a few others models,the japs can be very cunning at times.
