I have a Pajero io 1999 - 4 speed Automatic - 122000 Km. I have a few problem with my car.

:thumbsup: It is shifting to its 4th gear at 60KM/hr. Is this normal?. After shifting to the final gear i feel lack of power. The engine sound also is odd.

:thumbsup: Also i hear some sound from the rear side (some were below the passenger seat). something like air is coming inside. I checked with the mechanic suspecting problem of differential. He says differential is perfectly ok. but he failed to pick out the actual the problem.

Flush and change your tranny fluid with the correct Mitsi type. Remove and clean all the engine bay electrical connectors as they sometimes get false readings due to lack of conductivity between pins. Most likely this will solve all your problems if its anything like the 5 speed triptronic.
