I bet SC-Customs could help you out with that one, I've been told he does really good custom work. It's worth asking him.

No, there is no option for a OEM CF wing.

are you looking for the material to be CF? or are you just trying to get the CF look?

if you go to a trusted tinting shop, you can have them put CF vinyl on a wing making sure that the crease is underneath so it actually looks like a real CF wing. most CF vinyl carries a 3-5 year lasting look guarantee, and you can also buy the shops extended warranty if you want. all you need is a wing to have them put it on to. should cost you around about 80-120 bucks. its no where near as expensive as buying a new CF wing. however unless you are seriously racing and need the actual down force of the rear wing. also of you are looking for light weight applications, aluminum is really the way to go, not CF.

Then CF vinyl is NOT the solution. There is a BIG difference in the look of true CF weave and a vinyl sheet.

vinyls are quite easy to remove as long as you know what to do. get a big pan of boiling water, ot get a steamer, of if your careful you can use a clothes iron with the steam function as long as you are extremely careful not to accidentally hit the vinyl with the iron.

Dude no offense but that's the most pointless thing I've ever heard. A vinyl put over your spoiler? I'd go actual carbon fiber. Plus downforce on a 3g, why would you want added downforce on your back wheels when all 3g's are fwd?

I'd actually go get a Carbon Fiber one instead of trying to just make it look that way.

Plus Carbon Fiber is actually lighter than Aluminum and stronger too. Hence why alot of European supercars are made of majority Carbon Fiber not Aluminum.

But then the 3g's look ugly without a spoiler.

Depends on the look you're going for. Here's a photo of mine a few years ago without a spoiler:

and with a WW Bullet Spoiler:

whatever man, if you actually took time to read the thread and you would have noticed i asked if he was going for the material of the CF or the look. he said it didn't matter. i mentioned a way to get the look with out the cost of buying a new wing and having to remount it.

carbon fiber is only stronger than aluminum under certain circumstances, this is not even a issue in this application, so why even bring it up in the first place?

Because when it is functioning as a spoiler it's more lightweight and happens to be stronger so it will last longer, plus carbon fiber won't rust. That and the whole downforce thing still gets me, downforce on the rear wheels on a FWD car. It's just doesn't make sense. Plus to get enough downforce to actually make a difference you have to be going over 100mph, and honestly who drives their daily driver that hard? But like I said oh well doesn't matter it just didn't make sense to me why you said the things you did.

True, they don't look terrible, especially the one your car that you posted, but it does look so much better with a spoiler than without, but I guess it's really just a matter of opinion is all it boils down to.

I'd say 20lbs would be a safe estimate but on the high side, so I'd say 10-15lbs. But I don't know for sure. But it's not that much weight. By taking it off it'd reduce drag alot more than it would weight.
