I'm looking at getting my first Mitsu, and am considering a 2008 Spyder Eclipse Gt. The only problem that I'm having is I can't find any info on turbo's for them. Can anyone help with this??

Thanks!

FWD with 263 HP from the factory + turbo = lots of broken transmissions.

So in other words, stop looking unless I plan on doing a clutch and tranny upgrade as well? Or is there something else that you can suggest? Like a small NOS kit?

i think with the new eclipse, you looking at pretty fast already.

add an intake,
headers,
cat back exhaust,
cams,
cam gears,
underdrive pulley
lightened flywheel
stage 2 clutch

i'd say after that you'll do just fine. tearing up quite a few v8's and what not at that rate.

Everyone will have to excuse my ignorance here for a moment, but what are the benefits/drawbacks to superchargers/turbos? More specifically, why would I want one more than the other?

Thanks in advance.

Turbo is exhaust driven, supercharger is belt driven.
