ive got a 1992 Eclipse GS, and ive been looking for a cat back or axle back exhaust, but only haven been able to find ones for the 2g eclipses.

will the non-turbo 2g fit on the non-turbo 1g?

or am i better off just getting a universal muffler and get it put on?

It will not fit. 420 motor vs. 4g63. Get a custom one :)

that is the best you can do, go to your muffler shop, get a muffler and a custom cat back, is also cheaper

420a was only in years 95-99 and a couple of the 2000-02 non turbo models. all 94 and older were 4g63 unless 1.8L

2g cat back won't fit a 1g. like rpeclipse said it's better, and generally cheaper, to get a universal muffler and have a shop bend you an exhaust. make sure they do "mandrel" bending not compression bending though

I got a 3inch megan racing exhaust system on mine.....it came from a nissan 240sx. it will bolt up, but you need a stepdown pipe to connect it to the cat.
