So got my car into the shop for transmission work, and going to cost alot. The input shaft is twisted and broken, the whole gear trans is broken, the O/D drum is broken. Don't know how this all happened but going to be fixed soon can't wait.

Got the car from a family member, When i drove it with them all that I could tell was wrong with it was it would jerk just a bit when i would put it into reverse.Took it to one shop they said that it was just the filter and that it needed to be repleaced and fluid level refield to the proper levels. But about a month after wards it went completly out, i mean not going into gear at all in reverse, it would engage in drive but only first gear, no other gears would catch. Not even triponic's would engage.

Does this answer your question?

All wheel drive for the win, yes.

Was your tranny leaking the fluid or what? Running the car with no tranny fluid would cause what has happened.
