I was just wondering where the best place to buy parts are for my 2003 eclipse spyder because the front bumper and driver side fender is mashed up a little. Where do you guys buy parts at, that are fairly cheap? TIA

I'd just go find a local junk yard that has a 3g with a good 03-05 front bumper and driver's side fornt quarter panel. Even if it doesn't match you can get them painted for fairly cheap at any body shop. But that's just what I do.

The odds of finding a FRONT bumper at a junkyard in good shape - is SLIM to none. I didn't suggest that idea for a reason, the time/energy spent in looking isn't even worth it.

Do a quick search on Ebay. Every now and then one pops up.

Well it did work for me one time and that's where the body shop around where I live ended up getting one for my car and they got a rear bumper as well. I just suggested it cause it sometimes does work out and it's a cheaper alternative. But hey I just offered it as another option, it's up to him if it's worth his time or not. Don't hate me for offering a suggestion like the guy was asking for.

I remember a few weeks ago on Craigs List there was a 03 eclipse that some chick was parting out for cheap!!Her EX boyfriend had wrecked it but she said that the engine, most body panels, etc were in good shape,,Look in your area on there you can find some good deals and you can bargain or trade

Exactly. The 3g is the most popular of all the eclispes so far. So you can EASILY find one at a junk yard with a good bumper. Might need to be repainted but oh well that's not that bad.

car-part.com

You can find a local junkyard with the part, in the color you want, and they grade it so that you aren't getting a junked up pos.

The 3g is the most popular. It appeals to young people and old people alike. The 1g and 2g were mostly for the younger crowd. And the 4g is just too expensive right now for the youngins mostly.
