ok guys i used to own an 04 lancer es and now i have an 05 mazda 3. but im hoping to be coming back to the light if i can get my hands on this 06 mr se thats for sale near me. but the one question that has been taunting me, and i cant seem to find on the net n e where is, does the mr se come with a 5 or 6 speed tranny? im hoping not the 6 but thats wat im thinking. :unsure:

All MR's have teh 6 speed stock. Most who made the mistake of buying an MR swap in a 5 speed.

no the 6 speed is weaker than the 5 speeds. 6th gear is more of a cruising gear and just makes the gears taller not letting you get enough speed out of them.
