Hi guys!

I've been living here for about 3 years now and the first thing i did was to buy myself a 4wd as you can really make the most of them here :-)

i bought myself a 94 pajero 3l V6 auto and have been really happy with it.
i bought an old one so i wouldn't worry about a few scrapes and dings when taking it out bush and i just recently took it in for it 270000km service (2 weeks ago)
up until now i've had no problems with it (except some play in the steering that needs sorting but thats a different story)
yesterday though i had my first symptom. i was about to reverse my trailer into the drive and it stalled.
now its driving me mad but after some test driving it appears that:

when cold it starts great and idles fine a little over 1000rpm and goes up a little when i switch the aircon on (all good).
as it gets to temperature the revs will drop to about 700 rpm (all still good so far)
but as soon as i drive it, the revs drop more and hover between 400 and 500 barely ticking over and turning on the aircon doesn't raise the revs as it should but just kills it.
even without the aircon on it idles so low that as soon as i put it in drive it dies
it always starts first time every time. i just now have to keep the revs up to keep it going and it still seems to be driving fine too.

i've also noted a couple of drops of oil on my garage floor which i've never had before. i hope the guys didn't screw it up doing the bloody service!

if anyones got any ideas that would be great! we have a new baby arriving in 2 weeks so could do without any un-needed expenses if its something i can sort myself

Cheers

Chris

Yeah man definitely a dirty injector, take your air filter out give it a bang to get the **** out then take off and clean your throttle assembly with a petrolly peice of wet and dry, i had a similar problem with mine.

Mine overheated with town driving too, does yours?

Oh and i forgot to add... If u do try it out make sure after cleaning the throttle assembly out flush the entire thing out in a (clean) bucket of feul and leave to dry wrapped in a clean rag BEFORE re-attatching or u risk re-blocking the injector which takes you back to square one, or worse causing an explosion in your intake manifold.
