i wouldn't recommend you have someone do it. first of all it will cost a lot, because you have to have a upholstery shop do it, and they don't normally work with carpet. and second if you just do it yourself if something goes wrong later you will know what you did wrong and be able to fix it yourself.

i'm not sure what part of the world you live in, but try to visit a auto parts store that carries generic headliners, and generic replacement floor carpet. then buy some and go to your local hardware store and ask someone for adhesive that will stick to both carpet backer and metal, or wood whatever you have on your walls of your van. by a lot of it and use it liberally when applying it. lay your carpet up against the wall and then put a board up against it with some thing pushing on it to keep pressure. after something like 6 hours you should be good to work on another wall.

best way that i have found to do this is to glue the middle with some good adhesive and to use industrial strength velcro on the outsides. this way, if you ever wanna take it off, you can easily remove from the outside inwards.

This is the smart way. :)

Whenever you do ANY custom work, interior, audio, carpet, upholstery, etc... always, and I mean ALWAYS allow yourself some type of access for troubleshooting things in the future. If you carpet the walls, either build in small hidden access panels that aren't visible or use velcro in some areas as suggested above. This will prevent a big headache down the road when you need to replace something or add something new.
