I am trying to add a aftermarket sub & amp to a 01 Mistubishi Eclipse GS w/ Infinity system to the stock radio. What parts are needed to do so? I understand that it does have a stock amp as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

email the moderator bobthecow directly with your question and he'll tell you exactly what you need to do. And he'll tell you exactly what you need based on how big you want your system to be and what type of systems are the best for whatever style of music you'll be listening to.

Actually the easiest thing to do, even though it is the most expensive is to replace the head unit and the stock speakers so you don't have to worry about that factory amp and then get a sub and an amp. Easiest way to do it. Then all you have to do is get the proper wiring harness for the head unit, the extra speaker wire, and the wiring kit for your sub and amp.
