Im new to this forum, I have a 3g eclipse gts, nice car but now im having problems with my ac, Once i have the ac on it blows cold air for about 2-6 mins or so then ac clutch and fans shut off then come back on by itself and keeps doing this. You can tell while im driving cause the car feels like it starts to hesitate when the clutch engages then disengages. Freon and coolent level are good and car doesnt overheat, so im not really sure whats causing this to happen..Can Anyone give me some ideas what to else to check?????

Only thing I've ever had that happen with is the blower motor for your A/C. That might be it, beyond that I have no idea.

if u can do the work take the compressor off get a feeler gauge and see where its at- its probably slipping- or the gap is too big. get manufacturer specs on it ok.
