i ordered a short ram intake for my 92 eclipse gs and i have taken the stock one off and i cant figure out how to get the new one on. can someone link me a site showing how to do this install or walk me through it? the new pipe is the right one for my car but it doesnt seem to fill the same spot my old one did. i am not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars so keep that in mind. any help would be appreciated.

do you have a engine shot? seems like your missing some of the iping cause it has to connect to the throttle body and that does not look like a short ram intake for the eclipse in our generation.

seriously that looks like it would not fit on any kind of car considering there is no bend to connect to the throttle body.

i seriously cannot think of any kind of car that can fit that intake :nahrung034:

go with injen or aem if i were you id cancel your order for that ten dollar intake and man up and buy a 250 dollar intake, one that will last and will cause you to gain a little power. you know what i mean?

I'd rather spend the money on gas.

If it doesn't fit, return and tell them they sent you the wrong part and file a claim with paypal.

i filed a claim with paypal and i got my part in a few days....seriously though ebay is only good on certain things, performance parts in some cases is not one of the things you should consider buying on ebay unless their brand names.

Its an intake. Pipe is pipe...mostly. Get the pipe from ebay, throw the filter away and go to autozone and buy a K&N filter.

I'm not going to argue over brand name stuff VS non Name brand stuff. Look at my parts list.

HKS
Greddy
Apex-i
Toyo
Brembo
K&N
AutoMeter
AEM
Alpine

My intake, is Ebay.

I love Injen intakes. I honestly can not say a bad thing about them. But like I said earlier I would rather spend $50 - $70 on ebay and K&N and then the remainder on gas and taking my girlfriend out.

this is where i got mine for my 1.8. great price fast shipping and excellent product.. air filter and pipe are shipped seperatly tho so they might arrive a 2 dif times. (mine did) btw its the biggest air filter ull ever see in ur life for an I4 lol and its cleanable so i reccomend buying the cleaning kit as well (only like 10 bucks)
