I Recently had the pleasure of working on a DA2A Carisma Imported from New Zealand. It presented with occasional stalling, and would sometimes take up to 2 hours to restart. After reading this forum i came to the conclusion that it might be the IAC/AAC valve. I replaced it and to no avail. I did some extra searching and talking to many friends in the industry to find out that there is a way for getting codes that does not require a tool to do it. On the 16 pin OBDII connector you bridge pins 1 and 4, (top row from left to right) and then turn on the ignition. The check engine will flash, slow for tens and fast for ones with a noticeable space between. I came up with code 23 which is the Cam angle sensor, which on a DOHC version is on the near side of the engine (left hand side). $300.00 and 5 minutes to change. All done....... Cheers
