I'm replacing the timing belt on my 95 Montero 3.0. I stopped by Advanced Auto and picked up a Harmonic Balancer removal kit. On the Balancer I see what should be two screw holes where I should attach the remover to the Balancer, but when I went to attach the remover screws I found that the holes are not threaded. Now I'm mystified. How do I secure the remover to the Balancer? I'm at a friends house and was planning on finishing this up tommorrow so if anyone can give me a quick answer I'd really appreciate it. I want to make it home for Mother's Day. :)

thx

once the crankshaft bolt is removed, there is nothing else holding the balancer on.
it should merely pop off. If it doesn't, its badly corroded. Give it a couple of smacks.
