Hi all
i just replaced my struts in a 93 magna v6 and when i went to the shops there was this knocking noise in the left hand side when i turned left or right
any ideas what the problem could be?

Make sure its seated correctly.

But it sounds like you may have bought a bad strut.

if you have a tension wrench check the top nut to specs

Did you buy the strut units as one or did you fit the springs yourself

The noise maybe the lower ball joint or lower control arm bushes

the car will need a wheel alignment

hi i fitted the springs my self .had a proper look while a mate was here today and the spring is hitting the firewall .i guess that the spring isnt sitting its right position !
