Vote for the May Ride of the Month Here are this months Potential rides. Two posts of entries. Owexonline’s 2006 Outlander Normal car, no major mods. 2006 outlander 2.0L AWD, Owner: ovi from Romania. hmmmm I bought the car in 2005 from a neighbor ( was 11 month old and a fair price ), it has 2 things I don’t like 1. Leather inside 2. Manual gearbox in the rest is a great car, and I drive it almost everywhere. Not much off-road because of the 19" wheels. Wheels are not stock, I bought them after I bought the car and then I had to upgrade brakes since I couldn’t brake anymore because of the steering wheel vibration. I also bought xenon hid kit, must be mounted this week. He had totally screwed this car up. The only thing was it still looked good. I had to buy it and fix what he had done to it. So we started out with a grueling 24 hour trip that should have only taken us a half a day. My friend and I limped this thing home, stopping at gas stations auto parts stores and sometimes even on the side of the road. Was I discouraged? No. I was hooked. I had to get this thing running. Several thousand dollars later and a creap load of work and she is better than ever. Here is the mod list Altezza Tail Lights 52 mm gauge bezel for instrument cluster 52 mm gauge bezel for AC vent 4 ProSport Gauges Boost Oil Pressure Fuel Pressure EGT AFC NEO Megan Short Throw shifter Sony Explode Head Unit T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo Custom Turbo exhaust manifold FMIC 2.5" Aluminum IC Piping HKS Blow Off Valve Accel 310cc injectors Wallbro 255 fuel pump 12:1 FMU Montegi Rims on 225 35 R18's New oil pan w/ welded in -10 AN return line Steel braided oil lines Missing Link Map sensor adapter New upper and lower control arms, sway bar bushings and tie rods 32 point adjustable Megan racing coilover suspension This along with over 2 months of nonstop work is what I have into it so far. I know you die hard Eclipse/Talon guys can appreciate the work. Hopefully I have done enough to have a shot at winning. LOL. Thanks for taking the time to look and read. Vlorion’s 1991 3000GT VR4 I bought my '91 300gt VR-4 2 years ago. When I first bought the car it had a blown engine. I found a motor from a '93 VR-4 and bought it for $2000. I had it installed by one of my friends for $600. I then moved on to the exhaust. I installed a 3" stainless steel straight-piped exhaust pipe with no cat or mufflers. This exhaust sounds sweet. Copy and paste this link in the search bar if you would like to hear it: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoID=33267972 After the exhaust, I moved on to the interior. I installed white gauge faces and an aftermarket boost and air/fuel gauges. After that, I put in 2 black Ralliart racing seats. The interior is super nice and clean...no rips or tears in the front seats, or the rear black leather seats. The last thing I have done so far was swap out all factory speakers for Kicker speakers and I installed a 12" Phoenix Gold sub. Well, 2 years and about $4200 later, I have completed just a small chunk of my to-do list for this car. It was my first car that wasn't a POS. it was also my first car that did 0-60 in under 10 seconds. So naturally I wanted to go faster. And started in on it. MODIFICATIONS my first MOD was a BOMZ intake next I went to NGK plugs and wires Custom straight pipe exhaust MSD ignition after a while I realized that tan front cloth seats and black leather back seats didn't work for me (dealer swap at last second I didn't catch till it was too late, give me a break, I was 18) so I went on the internet and purchased a set of black leather BOMZ racing seats. And a set of red corebeau racing harnesses. They aren't really needed but I think they make the car look sick. I also went ahead and put some 17's on there. "Lobster claw" style. They greatly increase its sex appeal from the stock 16's that they come with. Car handles amazing and will definitely look to the future for a VR4 for its handling abilities. QUOTE(BigRedMonster @ May 14 2008, 04:52 PM) Outlander gets my vote........shes HAWT!! Eclipse has a horrible paint scheme thing going on there, props on the 420a-T though. VR4 is nice, just has no picture of a hot female standing with it. 3000GT is just too bland. All in all, Hot Romanian > cars You actually surprise me with that opinion...i thought you were 9AY all this time...i mean I see the Unicorn and other comments by you and i came to that conclusion...but anyway you do you...and this was... :offtopic:
