Hi guys I have a 2001 eclipse 3.0 and my tech told me my no start was a crank sensor. He said the whole motor needs to come out and it takes 12 hours. I dont know much about cars but this doesnt sound right. Could someone please help me.

Are you serious. Here's the deal, one of the moderators bobthecow took his car to a Mitsubishi dealer to have his transmission replaced, I believe they had his car for 2 weeks or somewhere around there to do the job. Dealerships always exaggerate time and labor for parts. They just wanna try and get the most money out of you that you can. My advice would be to go check other places that are around where you live and get an estimate on how much it would cost and how long it would take.

But even I had a Jetta VR6 that the local shop I took my car to got like 3 major electrical problems taken care of in like 4 hours. So you just gotta look around.
