Depending on how much money you want to spend, here are your options.
1) the best. Do a full exhaust swap, headers if you like, high flow cat, high flow resonator 2.5 piping from header all the way back (make sure ur resonator and cat is laso 2.5 in/out). Towards the end of the car where you can split, put a y pipe (or T pipe depending on how your setup would work and how much space you got to work with). The y pipe in should be 2.5 out should be 2". Put 2" pipe, then resonator and then muffler on each end symmetrically.
2) whatever you wanna do in the front, just make sure its either stock width or wider, but not wider than 2.5". Add an additional resonator (if u are keeping stock one) towards the back, split the pipes into two 2" and then attach mufflers.
Remember, adding additional resonators DO NOT affect your performance as long as they are the same width as your piping, so dont be afraid to put more than one. Not having a muffler will still make your car growl, but resonators will take away all the RASPY crap that civics are known for.

I have an exhaust shop that all I have to do is call and I can be in the door.

a few people PM'd me lately to weigh in. If your going to do any custom work, single or dual. Do make the mistakes that are unfortunately common. ensure you have the proper sectional piping. Do not attempt to weld everything on into one continuous pipe from the header all the way back to the tip. Pipes have flex to them for a reason. The pipe over time will crack. Dual exhaust is tricky, but the best way to do it is with a single canister dual tip configuration. if you attempt a Y pipe configuration split you will bastardize exhaust flow because their is not enough velocity to overcome the split. It makes the job easy but performance will suffer. Also the dimensions of the canister is important as well, people have to understand that exhaust flow has two stages, technically three. When I say three, the header is a very dynamic case but not really relavant to answer this direct question. but the flow before, thru, and after the CAT is one stage, and flow hitting the Muffler. Canister flow changes the dynamic of flow, it can enhance, it in some ways if the sizing and flow is right or it can kill it. You can read my blurb on piping size here http://tolancer.com/index.php?option=com_c...w&id=6&Itemid=2I hope that helps, if not pm me cheers
