you dont need to splice all the wires...

HERES WHAT YOU DO...

The first thing you have to do is get in touch with PARTS EXPRESS (PartsExpress.com) at 1-800-338-0531. When you call, tell the "HELPFULL" Sales Person that you want to **SPECIAL ORDER** a "METRA 70-7003" (the reason its SPECIAL ORDER, cause Parts Express has to order it for you from METRA). The Cable will cost you around $25.00 + S&H, it is well worth it, trust me!!! Now this part will hook into the Factory DIN plug and wire Harness, IT IS ALL YOU NEED.

The 70-7003 wires into your factory wire harness and the RCAs from your new radio plug into the cable. It is not like the regular Wire Harness that you get for any other application.

Here is a pic of the 70-7003. This is what you should have in your hand.

There are 3 wires that you have to splice into the Factory Harness Red (12V), Orange (Igniton), Black (Ground). Then you have to plug your Front RCAs and Rear RCAs into the cable. The RCAs are what give you your sound instead of your normal harness where you have to wire the speaker wires into the harness. Finish by pluging the 70-7003 into the factory DIN and plug the factory Harness into the Radio Harness.

When you power up the radio, you should hear sound from all your factory speakers even the center dash one above the display. You can remove the display if you want, but there is no need. The clock / Temp / Compass will still work!!!

This install is very fast and easy, anyone with limited Car Audio knowledge can do it. The total install should take you about 10 - 15 min to do (+ or - depending on your level of knowledge). Very Fast!!
