Hello to all,

My nephew bought a 1996 galant es with the 2.4 I4 in it. It is an auto. I am trying to figure out though where to connect this wire. It is coming off the the alternator and looks like a ground wire. The wire is the one on the lower screw post of the alternator NOT the wires with the clip on the end as that one is connected fine. If anyone has a picture of how the alternator is wired up in these cars it would be great, any help is always appreciated. I hope i have explained it enough but if pics are needed i can get them quickly as the car is in my parking lot.

There are 2 places this wire can go , one is the oil light on? The wire can connect to teh oil pressure switch which is located in teh oil filter housing under the alternator, or it can go in teh power steering pressure switch in the power steering pump above the alternator
