Has anyone else experience this problem. I have a 1999 galant ES-V6. I have the single disc Mitsubishi factory AM/FM stereo. All of a sudden the unit wont turn on at all. I took of the dash and checked the connections to the back to unit and everything, it all checked out, nice and tight. This isn't an anti theft issue, just that the unit wont turn on and doesnt respond to anything. I have no clue what the problem is, I have never had an issue with the unit before. Any clues?

I have the same problem on my 99 GTZ where the audio lights nothing turn on and the only way i can get it to work is .....and it might sound crazy but while i am driving i turn the ignition ON once or twice and it comes back to life.

Have no clue why....even the dealer couldn't figure it out.

Your problem may or may not be the same....this was my side of the problem and how i get around it....

its scary because when this happens the window wipers also shut off ...weird electrical problem i guess...
