Hi. I have a 2003 Galant which is starting to develop a rust spot where the windshield mets the roof on the driver side. Has anyone had the same experience? any ideas on how to fix it? I've attached two pictures.

I kno its late reply but one i guess is better than none. If yu have not gotten it fixed yet , where the rust is pull back gently on the window to body rubber seal and using very fine sand paper sand onlee the rusted area to bring the rust spopt down til it no more. Get some touch upp paint that is the colour of yur car and apply it over the area sparingly , after it sets yu can apply a little finger nail polish clear hardener over it to give it a luster and added protection.

Hi. I removed the rust as best I could with a exacto knife, but unable to sand down due to location. I'll apply two coats of anti-rust paint and one coat of touch up paint....I'll update later on...keeping my fingers crossed:-)

Hope things come out okies , i forget teh various things i used , um it was like a little pad thing i used for that area , not actual sand paper , it was like , hmm hobby shops has this little things its like a little stick thing with a light sand paper like surface on the end , it almost looks like a little screw driver with a plastic flexible wand , its not that long , and the tip is like a flat sponge sand paper like for hobbies and stuff for finishing and sanding in tight or small areas. This is wut i used after attempting with diffrent things. Well i hope the method yu try works . Thanks for the update.
