pull your radio out of your dash. then start up your car and get it to operating temperature. the fan and heater core are located directly behind the radio. check to see if you have a leak coming from the fan box. if so you have a faulty heater core and need to replace it.

I have done a complete dash replacement on my 01 eclipse and it was a pain but not too hard.....and after I opened up the evaporator housing I founds a bunch of leaves and debris clogging up the drain pan. If you want to see if thats the problem you only need to remove your glove box. That will give you access to the duct that connects the fan box to the evap assembly. You'll be able to get a flashlight in there and check if you have any build up. I just hit 117K on mine and there was a lot of stuff in there. Mitsu is to blame by not including a cabin air filter before the fan or any other type of screen. If you can get the duct off to see inside you can have a buddy slowly pour a bottlle of water into the pan while you check both the floor on the drivers side and under the car for fluid flow. I haven't had any more leaking yet after getting everything cleaned out. I hope this info can help you guys.
