As suggested, from now on I will be deleting duplicate threads and topics that have been already discussed (especially more than once). As of right now I've always locked them with a message of reference to what thread the topic has been discussed in. I will no longer do that, I will not spend my time finding the topics for someone because they are too lazy to go through a few pages or use Search. So if your thread has been deleted, search for similar topics THEN question my action.

It would be nice to see these posting rules enforced without exception.
I just finished a three day argument about this with a new member because some posts were left open while others weren't.

not cool.

With that said i am leaving, this is a poorly run website in my opinion and the rules are a tad over done.

Website is more like a Mitsubishi FAQ than an open forum for discussion.

a RE-DRESS system should be set-up so that new members could state their case/reasoning before dual threads are erased. This will prevent forum arguments and allow useful threads to remain posted.

Come on.....this site may not be perfect, but the moderators are just like you & me, BUSY most of the time. Really though.....if he had alot of time to constantly monitor this site, then yes it would be close to perfect. But let's say that you have a few days of work that just really kicked your a$$ & your too tired to check on the site......come back a few days later to check it out and BAM....ton of duplicate posts & other things that are a no-no. Of course he is going to get mad & lock threads here & dump others. Heck I would. It is annoying that people don't use the search function 1st & ask questions later. I know the search function can be finiky sometimes...but at least people should give it a try. The mods should start handing out warnings & banning people that constantly abuse this site. BUT, should they really have to if people just do what they are supposed to do?
Can't we all just get along?!

just to clarify, the reason user He15man got banned was not because I was mad to see so many duplicate threads. I think I specified the reason in my "reason for ban" field, but lets go over it again. You abused the rules, you straight forward said that moderators dont care about the rules and only SixFeetDeep is paying attention to it and annoys you.. And if that wasn't enough, i had 3 different members on this forum write PMs to me complaining about your rudeness. I gave you a warning one time, I even took your side once and left the topic opened, only to get disrespect in return, towards me and others. Thus the ban for a week.

Gotta bump this up.

NEW PEOPLE AREN'T SEARCHING THE THREADS, RESULTING IN REPEAT THREADS!

Repeat topics are going to be closed/deleted. Repeat offenders are going to get warned & could even get banned.

Were not being jerks...just tired of the same topics over & over because people aren't searching the threads.

I would....but these new people aren't even looking at the top of the pages so it would almost be worthless to do so.

I went around checking things out early this morning & there are what...4 pages in the general section & probably only 4 pages in the performance...2 in the audio...2 in the tires. If this is too hard for people to look through...4 stinkin pages...come on <_<

I know sometimes people need an answer like right now....but that isn't always the case.

Not to mention that there are like 8 stickies in the General Section. Another one would only make it more appealing to skip. <_<
