Hi, newbie to the Lancer. Installing a clutch from perfection clutch in a 2002 Lancer and took the flywheel to my machine shop and they can't get the dowel pins off to resurface it. Does anyone know if you have to remove the backing plate (with those 10pt bolts in it) to get them out? Or, should I just get an aftermarket flywheel? I'm at a loss, and my machine shop is too. Thanks. Jared

Decided to buy a Fidanza flywheel instead of trying to cut the old one. Hopefully the $400 will be worth it.
