I have been looking for a a new hood, but had a couple questions.
1.) Does all that writing (i.e the "DuraFlex and other words in red) come on the hood actually?
2.) are the vents functional?
3.) What is the estimated weight reduction on fiberglass hoods?

1) no, the hood comes unpainted

2) yes

3) not as drastic a weight reduction as carbon fiber. But still a decent amount, i will check with extreme dimensions and get an exact number

So, you said no paint, but is it black primed and ready to roll if you like it like that??

not primed. even if it was you wouldn't want to leave it like that. It'd fade pretty quickly
