Dont get a 3g gs....you can find them cheap but it wouldnt be a smart plan, very costly to upgrade performance wise..Id get the gsx, baby it and mod it then when your experienced see what itll do....alot of people get into wrecks, fender benders, etc with their first car so thats something to keep in mind.5 spd is important to know, some driving jobs wont hire if you cant drive one

I'm only seventeen at this point, I got my gs a year and a half ago (bought myself, couldn't afford the gst/gsx) cause I was only really into the look at the time, now I wish everyday that I had waited and gotten a gsx, I'm saving for one as we speak. Definetly go with a five speed, and if you have any intentions of tuning, don't waste your money on a rs/gs. But thats just my .02

yea they are fast cars. saying that all the imports around me are hondas and lcosest track is hour half away ive been a couple times never taken my car but there arent many dsm's and when there is not much better than a 9.5 fast yea but there are hondas here in 8s (humpleperformance.com) idk what they are running pretty fast though. thats why im building my dsm im tired of the hondas there are really only 2 or 3 people in my town(55000 population) that do anything to dsm's and they all run 14's so not much to say about them.

I dont know ur zipcode so i used mine but i dont see it making much of a diff.. anyway asuming its MT here are the 2 possibilites:

TSi AWD: http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingRep...QuizConditions=

TSi FWD: http://www.kbb.com/KBB/UsedCars/PricingRep...QuizConditions=

those are the worths of the cars according to Kelley's Blue Book.

oooh, nice
i think i would buy it even if it was overpriced just because of the simple fact that i cant find ANY gsx's or gst's in my area. So when i found this tssi i was suprised that i found it.

i would say go with a manuel 98 GSX!! their sexy and have a grip of potential!! if you go with a non turbo's car then you are going to have to buy a new motor or get the N/A equiped so it can handle boost and i promise you that aint cheap!! not at all also their is an advantage with the GSX AWD... not many cars will get you off the line if you can launch it right an the reason i say manual is because you get to control the car how you want to not like an automatic!! yea easier in traffic an things like that but at the strip or on the street def. get a manual!!
