Hey
My car got broken into last night it is a NZ made 89 galant 1.6L sohc carb only worth $800 NZ. Headunit and radar detecter in glvoe box wasnt taken  . But there is all this broken crap from the ignition, copper plates and stuff and i cant start it becuase they have tried to hot wire it. What should i do about fixing this can i just find a 2nd hand ignition from a same model galant and use that. Or should i take it into a shop to get fixed? as im a student money is tight and i dont have access to tools as my parents place is 16 hours away.
thanks Carl

also anyone know where the wires are so i can put in a fuel pump kill switch?

well i would replace the ignition barrel/lock cylinder and switch frum the same model. Take teh assembly with the wire harness. the section on the switch to the drivers kickpanel at the fusepanel. It would be an easy wire up with not many complications besides getting the old one.
