I have a 2001 mitsubishi diamante and for some reason the directional button on the a/c controls isn't working. The air conditioning only blows slightly out of the far sided vents near the doors, when i push the directional button the screen shows the change in flow but it doesn't do anything. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and could give me a solution, thanks.

Ive had this problem about 7 years ago on my VR-S , i couold change the setting and it would show but it onlee blew to teh floor , and if it wanted after prolonged driving it blow to the top vents then the floor again. its the Climate Control Head Unit , that wut it was for meeh , Mitsubishi replaced it under warranty back then , even though sum tech was trying to rack extra bucks saying the mode control door was stripped , he could push it open and close with his hand, which i thought was hilarious , because its not vacuum doors its electronic driven and the case is to complex to do as they say. They aft to replace the Climate Control Head Unit but tried to scare meeh by saying since i dindt want to pay for the other stuff, the whole system may not work right LoL, to which i stated , well ill be back cause that should be under warranty also ha ha ha. But nah it worked fine .

Its the control head not functioning properlly and driving the mode control dors corectlly.
