Well I have had my Eclipse parked for like 3 weeks now because my radiator cracked (cheesy stick one with the plastic core) and recently bought a new one.

That sentence had absolutely nothing to do with what is wrong so I dunno why I even posted that. Anyhow, before it cracked and beyond, Ive been having a problem with A: The way the car idles; B: The way the car misses in lower RPMS and DEFINATLEY when you goose the throttle; and C: The way the car litteraly SWOLLOWS gas.

Ive been having this problem for a while, me and my Pops have replaced the fuel filter plugs, plug wires, tapet cover, and gaskets, and nothing seems to fix the problem, I just gave up on it tonight though because I didnt tighten the banjo fitting tight enough and fuel spilt EVERYWHERE, so tomorrow I gotta take our the resvoir and battery things again to tighten it without the risk of being blow to hell and back from fuel vapors. ;)

Just thought id ask if anyone knows what the problem is.

A: dirty air filter, TPS, CPS, EGR valve

B: either plugs, wires, or coil pack(or distributor i didnt check what year/model you had), if distributored then could be the distributor module as well.

C: my guess would be dirty/clogged fuel filter

are you getting a check engine light? it's definately sounds like a fuel problem and your running very very rich. it's possible that the fuel pressure regulator has gone bad and is keeping the pressure too high
