Hi my name is Mitch and i am in the R&D dept at GReddy Performance, we arr currently looking for anyone local in the Orange County area for a test fitment for our Ti-C Exhauts system, the car we are looking for in a 2008+ Lancer GTS needs to be stock or very close to it, We will be test fitting on the car and in return you will be given a Free Exhaust system for your help. I feel your pain. I still don't understand why all the R&D goes on in Cali... I say it should come to Chicago! We have all 4 seasons... usually within a week of eachother! Perfect for durability testing! I mean come on... imagine the bragging rights!

we have gotten word of the issue with the bumper melting, we have also received pictures of this on the car, which is why we need a car for testing so that we can fix this problem and verify that it will not happen again.

why does it have to be in cali, :( i would so do this but, i dont live anywhere near Cali.

darn, well Good Luck and i can't wait to see what its going to be! I will def buy, compared to my exhaust this is so nice. (just dont want to deal with melting bumper)

For your answer on what will happen to all of you that have already purchased this system there is a fix for it and it includes some new brackets, and we will gladly send the updated brackets out to all of those that purchased this system before the updates. for info on how to get this and when it will be available please call in and ask for Mitch and i can take all your info and be sure to get you on the list of those who purchased the Original Ti-C for the 08 lancer thanks. I have a question that I was thinking about on my drive home today.

Isn't the exhaust system is different on Cali Lancers than the ones most of us have (Non-Cali)??
(Not sure just asking as Injen makes a kit that wont fit Non-Cali Lancers)

If so, will that be a problem for us, as you obviously tested an in-town car?

I took a quick search for melting issues... and most of the cars (if not all) are not Cali lancers, so there lies the concern.

Either way, I'll take the brackets!!! :beer:

Gave them my info. Hopefully the fix comes soon.

I've found a safe spot for my exhaust in the meanwhile {fingers crossed}, but I'll feel better when everything is official.

i haven't heard anything yet. i haven't had the time to call, just waiting patiently for greddy to call me with some sort of tracking number for the solution they came up with. :blush-anim-cl:

I called Mitch yesterday and he took all of my information down. I think when everything is ready they will just ship them out. I hope Mitch posts on here to let us know when they are shipping them out.
