is there a hereditary starting problem w/gsx? mine ran fine and than it would run for a second or two and now it fires a little when turning over, acts like it's out of gas.....but i know it's not! monday i'm going to check injector pulse, fuel pump and spark, maybe even the computer if all that checks out.......just wondering if mitsu has had starting quirks in the past?

Not in my experience (1990 GSX) -- most reliable starting car I've ever had!

From the pic, it looks like your bov is hooked up properly... There is a problem with the fuel pump relay. And the service manuals show where it is and how to test it. for the 97+ cars it's a seperate relay that's like $30 from the dealer i think.

I had the same problem with mine a few months ago, and that was the problem.
