Anyone have a pic of a black lancer debadged with the fast key button? Im afraid if i debadge the back of my gts the fast key button will stick out and look ugly.

Well I don't have the Black...but I was going to post a pic of my Rally Red debadged with the fast key.


I thought about painting the chrome ring around the fast key to blend it with the rest...but I don't know. That might look silly.

I was thinking about that, since the button itself is black, i could paint the chrome ring black no problem. Ill post a pic whenever i get the time to do it.

I took off "mitsubishi" and "lancer" and then painted the emblem black and the chrome trunk button does stick out like a sore thumb now. hopefully will paint it as soon as i get time to.

what paint are you using to paint over the chrome?

like a flat black color sprat paint or what?

i just went to my local auto parts store and bought some 'adhesion promoter' and and some 'import black gloss' paint. a couple coats with the AP and then a couple coats of black and it looks great.
