It's weird, but when I open my trunk, I hear some water sloshing around. Not much...just a little bit. I am thinking that it is in the rear spoiler, but I won't have that confirmed until I goto the dealership & have them take a peek.
Goofy little car.
I am not getting any water inside the trunk.

Anyone else?

Kinda weird since the wing is a single airtight piece. Look on the inside of the trunk lid itself and see if there are any signs of water damage.

Didn't see anything....It's weird...I open the trunk lid & I hear a little sloshing. Don't know for sure if it is the wing or if water somehow got into the trunk lid itself.

Hey...maybe with all of my chips in the paint......maybe water is seeping in everywhere!
That would explain why my car is soooo slow :P
Pretty soon, my car will make a great anchor. Dukes of Hazzard that thing into the lake!

I have water in mine, as well. I've actually had water in several spoilers of different vehicles over the years. It seems to occur during high humidity followed by cool weather. The moisture condenses and then has some difficulty escaping. It's never posed a problem for me, though.

On a side note, I can also hear the fuel in the fuel tank sloshing :) But that doesn't bother me much, either, since I don't hear it when the car is running.

Well....that may be 1 good reason that we have noisy vehicles.....drowns out the other noises we are not supposed to hear. :P

As usual....I talked to the dealership & they of course have never heard of this happening before....figures. But they are curious as to what the problem could be. I should have it in the shop in a week or two.

Maybe I should just take my drill & make some drainage holes LOL!

Well your Sirius started popping just after installing spark plugs... freaking SPARK PLUGS! I'd hate to see what happens if you install a new intake...

EDIT: I take that back... I would LOVE to see what happens if you install a new intake  x 2

It actually didn't rain today!!

But after reading this post I paid close attention to hear the sloshing from the spoiler.... NOTHING...

But to my surprise as the day warmed up I noticed water accumulating around both of the stems of the spoiler where it meets the trunk.

I guess I already have my spoiler drainage holes in mine, LOL!!

Hopefully the water will find a way out of yours as well.

I haven't noticed any water sloshing around in my spoiler yet. Had showers and 2 storms and a hand car wash. Mine's look pretty solid from the outside so I really can't find a way water can get in =\

Haha! I second the seeing how the intake will go for 6'deep xD
Spoiler Water, Spark Plugs, what's next? xD

Well over a week ago I took it into the dealership & wouldn't ya know.....all the water had FINALLY evaporated. Took a couple of months for it to go away.

The service manager said that he has never heard of this before. Told me that the inside of the rear spoiler is all styrofome (spelling?) & that it shouldn't have never been able to hold water. They don't know where it was at & since it evaporated...I can't show them anymore.

Oh well.

It was probably in your trunk, but i wouldn't suggest trying to get it out if you hear it again.
Glad it went away..... all these weird noises you have been having.

So when are you installing that intake? and posting pictures?

It was only when I went to open the trunk. As it swung up...it would swish around in there...somewhere. I had been leaving it out in the sun to help dry it out & I guess it finally worked.

"Intake? What intake? He bought a filter..." Weeeeeeellllll...not just the WORKS filter :blush-anim-cl: ...........that part would be lonely by itself.....so I went ahead & got the :offtopic:
HA! Had to stop myself! WORKS Performance Pkg. I'm going to do the Flash upgrade sometime down the road as well. But for now...I'll see how I like this mod...maybe I will.....maybe E-Bay will get this shortly there after.....but not until you hear it Willy :)
