hi i have a 1996 2.8TD mitsubishi challenger. And the A/T warning light has started to flash on my dashboard. It has only happened a couple of times and tends to happen when the engine is warming up. It will only flash for about 30 seconds. Can someone please help me

Probably a a fluid level sensor indicating that you are not getting the tranny fluid to all the desired places. Check level first to see if low but you are probably in need of a fluid drop/flush & replacement. It will only get worse with time and high load use.

Yes, I believe its on the RHS behind the engine dip stick. Make sure you check while running and warmed-up.
