Hey folks,

I actually have 2 questions.

#1) I find the quality of my FM radio to be the worst of any car I've had, the stations seem to not to maintain a conistant volume, they kind of fade in and out sometimes go staticky (if that's a word)

I've had the head unit replaced and it helped somewhat but at best I'd give the FM reception a C, I'm not sure what else to do.

I have the S&S package and the Sirius radio is super crisp with no problems, maybe I'm just getting used to the quality of the sirius, but I'd like to hear other people's opinions.

Also, I bought my Lancer last August, so it's slowly creaping up to a year, does mitsubishi warranty the sound system after a year? My previous car was a Kia and there were a ton of things that were no longer covered after the first year.

#2) Other people have mentioned this, but is there any way to get the steering wheel controls to go thru the preset stations instead of just seeking up and down?

Thanks in advance

Have they tried replacing your antenna? Perhaps it could be somehow defective?

Otherwise....my guess would be that there is a crimp in one of the radio's wires? I don't really know....your Sirius is working....how's your AM?

My FM reception sucks too. I have read several topics on this and it just seems to be a problem the car has. Sirius comes in great though..except under bridges.
