:) Hello ,thanks for the great forum. It took me a while, but finally found a good Eclipse forum .Ok,here is my problem.I have a 2000 Eclipse, and about 2 months ago,the clutch fluid was low,so I filled it,and the clutch worked fine, but about a month or so later, the clutch pedal got soft, then to the point the car wouldn't move.like the clutch was slipping. The car only has 32,000 miles, and the clutch was great before the fluid first got low.I tried to bleed the cylinder, but got nothing. When you first push in the pedal, the arm on the cluthc cylinder on the tranny doesen't move, you have to pump it a few time before it starts to move.Did anyone have this problem.Thanks.......

Happened to me, you had a nasty hole in the slave cylinder ..... that little black pump there, if you took a nice look at it while bleeding it you would've saw it looked all cripple. I just replaced the slave cylinder.

Are you the member who post about turbo's.If so I need some advice on what's the best way the setup my 4cly.,I just got a TDO5H 16G Polished Turbo,it's a complete kit. Will I have to upgrade the injectors,or anything else. Also it came with a Extreme coat Cast manifold,Extreme coat Cast downpipe,do you think I should get a header type of manifold, instead of the cast one?Thanks...I know it's been asked before, but,I really don't want to search all the turbo post to find the answers.

the turbo should be ok. its a good base turbo. it would be a good idea to upgrade the injectors, maybe to 370s. as for the exhaust manifold, the 1G/2G turbo header is a direct fit.

just a question for you...where did you get this from? is this designed for the 3G? and how much boost do you plan on running?

I got it off a guy who bought it,and wrecked the car before he got a chance to install it.He stated it was bought for a 2000 Eclipse,4cly car.As for the boost, not sure what the motor can run with out doing a piston, and rod swap.Any suggestions?I bought it for my son's car.He either wanted a turbo,or NOS,but I got a good deal on the turbo kit,so I went for that.Is the 1G/2G header a factory header,or aftermarket.Where can I locate one?You can go to my cardomain page to view the turbo,it's on page 5.Thanks.

the 4cyl internals have been proven to hold up to 15psi on stock internals. this would give the car over 300whp.

the 1G/2G turbo headers are the factory headers off a GST/GSX.

is that a GReddy turbo kit? if so, just to let you know, GReddy doesn't make a turbo kit for the 3G. also, i cant zoom in on the pictures so its kinda hard to see

just a heads up...you might run into problems with the intercooler piping(which is something that i didnt see in the pictures). not hard to get around that problem.

make sure that the intercooler can fit. most people use a 27x7x3 intercooler. anything bigger and you might run into problems with the space available

you might have a little trouble with that one. its really thick. what about piping? did it come with the kit, or is it something you are going to get done?

you could find a local machine/metal shop that will do the piping for you. you would need to give them your car and let them place the piping. i have pictures if you need them. make sure you get mandrel bends in the pipes

as for instructions, i really dont know where you can find those at. most shade tree mechanics can do it a kit that was designed for the car. as for your kit, i dont believe it was designed for the 3G. but you can make anything work
