 2004 Shuting Off When Cold

everytime the car is cold my rpms go to 1500 then back to 0 and the car shuts off i have to keep my fott on the gas so it could stay on. could someone please help.

sounds like it has to re-learn your idol. unplug the negative terminal for 5 minutes... put it back on. see if that does anything. thats the only thing i can think of.

uhh... when the car is OFF. just throw it in neutral (if urs is a manual) and pull the e-break on. then just pull it and wait like 5 minutes. put it back on, fire it up.
