I want to change the rims on my 1999 Mitsubishi Carisma. The current tire size is 185/65 R14. I am thinking about buying 15" rims instead (I am not sure what tire size is yet).

The question is, will the performance of the car be effected knowing that the car motor is a 1.6L one? I am buying them off of someone who bought them for his 1.3L car. He said that his car became really slow after putting the tires on. Will that happen with my car?

thanks
