Timing belt goes... three blown valves.
The head is already off the car.
How can i tell if the pistons are still okay?
What is the likelyhood of the pistons cracking when ever the timing belt snaps?
Any other problems I should look for?
Thanks for your help.

you should be able to look at the pistons to see if they are damaged

thats what I was thinking but then I realized you can only see the top of the pistons.... who knows it didnt crack from the side?

I think I'll just look at the top of and hope that its ok.... I will also hope that I am right before I buy the car. For only 450 bucks I cant make too much of a mistake.

i would believe that if it cracked on the side, there is a good chance that you would be able to see some kind of damage on the top. i could be wrong though
