What would be the best place to find front lip in REAL black carbon fiber?
Would A different material be better?Wheres the best place to find one hopefully under $250 new or a used one?

what do you mean by a front lip? are you talking about a front body kit bumper?

if so for carbon fiber one, good luck even finding a used one for $250 you can always order a front bumper kit new from e-bay, but they always seem to suck and you need to make your own mounts for them.

used you will have to either hunt one down by checking on the http://www.car-part.com or ask http://www.uneedapart.com to hunt for one for you. i suggest you go with the latter and if they don't find you anything then go to car-part.com.

He might be either talking about a front bumper entirely or just a lip that goes under the stock front bumper, like if you look at the new Corvette ZR1, it just has a CF lip under the bumper. That's what I think he was talking about.

The only option you have for a 01 is a ShineStreet Carbon Friber Front Lip. There are different names for this as the mold itself was sold out and replicated a million times.

On a side note, I woul advise against a CF front lip on a daily driven car and I recommend you lean towards Urethane for the flexibility of it.

The ShineStreet kit is gorgeous though. In terms of just a nice clean improvement to the car, that kit is almost second to none, especially if you're used to seeing those gaudy bomex style kits. I'd try to find one if I wasn't still paying off the car and college.

I am talking about just the front lip (under the bumper). I nask about carbon fiber because itd match my hood (hopefully) but I would worry about breaking it or chipping it,this car is my d.d. How much does a urethane one go for?Anyone seen them out there?,Ive only seen the Carbon Creations one at Andys Auto Sport for $350 (more than I spent on the hood)so I wont be purchasing that one. Thanks

The only urethane "lip" you can add is from Wings West.

Wings West is a pretty big name in aftermarket front and rear bumpers and side skirts. Honda uses them with their Wings West Civic.

All I know is I've seen a few of their kits and they do look pretty amazing.

I'll second that........
When it comes to aftermarket body components in general, Wings West produces arguably the best fitting, most durrable, and general high quality products on the market.

Wings West is certainly on top of their game, and I've personally seen plenty a car with WW, as well as uninstalled (and/or unpainted) WW products to fully verify these statements.
Wings West= VERY little worries (any aftermarket product will have some)

Go look at photos I posted of the SC-Customs Promo Eclipse. That's a full Wings West kit along with a Wings West Bullet wing - however, the entire kit is molded.

Either way, you ge tthe idea. No fitment issues, urethane = flexible, simple as that.
