Cheers,

The Eibach Pro-Kit provides a 1" reduction in height on all four corners. It's my impression that would center the front and rear axles within the wells of my oem 1990 GSX. Any opinion on this spring choice?

Thanks -- Trevor

I guess an associated question is whether people experience problems due to the nose touching the ground after installing lowering springs (probably most likely at the entrance to driveways.) Could potentially also be an issue when positioning a floor jack under the nose. Comments?

Thanks -- Trevor

my car is lowered and it didn't help that i put 40 series tires on it too. u have to navigate like u r four wheeling even over speed bumps, jacking up the car is easy. just put some 2x4's on the ground and drive onto them, that should be enough.

Good choice in springs and your OEM struts should be fine with only an inch of drop.

Remember:
Get it aligned after the install.
Your an inch lower so you will be an inch closer to things now.
Your ride will become a little harsher.
your car is going to look.... sexy.

You won't NEED the camber kit, I have it just in case. Eibach's aren't that great thought, loved my skunk 2's.

Thanks for the inputs fellows :)!

I'm a little discombobulated at the moment. I had to garage the Eclipse and beat it to the West Coast (Washington) where my brother just had quad bypass heart surgery. However, I installed NetZero on his PC yesterday and so am finally able to peek at the net again (36Kb :))! Needless to say, I'm stalled awhile.

Thinking of which -- I installed Eibach Pro springs on my xB in March (my first spring install) and had read it was important to install new struts when lowering. Since the car had well under 1K miles, I felt that shouldn't be an issue. However, I've probably got more like 10K miles on my Eclipse struts. Anbody have any experience on that side of the equation?

+1 an inch of drop shouldn't blow them out.

i've always had good luck with the eibach's but never tried the skunk2's. i have heard good things about them though
