Can you hear this sub on the outside of the car or no? I really want something that pounds pretty hard that can be heard outside of it but don't want the rattles.

So would this give that to me?

ok, i'll try to go easy on you since your new

1. you only mentioned a brand not a type
2. rattling is due to bad seals on your car not a loud sub
3. why do you want to have people out side your car hear your sound? its annoying to people around you, illigal in a few states and overall bad taste

if you want clean quality sound for cheap money, get your self some 10" type R's. you'll pay between 275-325 for 2 of them. and a few hundred for an amp to run them. 120 or so for a good box and for about 7 or 8 hundo you got a great system for a good price.

To add on, if you want it to pound as loud as cars you've heard before, you might wanna get a bigger sub and a more powerful amp. Cause a few cars around my place pound bass across the whole mall parking lot.
