 2 Wheel Drive Indicator Lights?

Drives: 2002 montero ltd. 4wd

on my 2002 montero, only 1 of the lights indicating 2 wheel drive lights up. even when i shift into 4high 4low or 4locked i still have the passenger rear wheel light not lighting up. has anyone experienced something similar and do you have an idea of what i may need to look at? :liebe011: in advance for any help.
