-can i fit a turbo on these engines
or should i buy a 2.0ltr vr4 4g63t engine and cost me less

and i think my engine is using a 2.0ltr cylinder head ive notice this near the thermostat its engraved 2.0ltr there at the side of the cylinder can someome verify and correct me please.thanks

the 1.6L and the 2.0L are basicaly similar. Most parts are interchangeable, and if it's already bored to a 2.0 you have a better selection of parts. ECU can be bought and put on, but remember you will probably have to change the wiring harness, and a bigger turbo can be put on, but you will need more fuel going to the engine, so bigger injectors. the first mistake people make is adding more air, but not enough fuel, leading to a blown engine. And there is no reason to get a stainless steel intake, thats only going to add weight. get an aluminum intake. and have your intake and exhaust ports port and polished. BUT MAKE SURE THAT THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST DIAMETERS ARE EQUAL. and since it is bored to a 2.0, if you want to go all out, get the stroker kit for the 2.0L. it makes it into a 2.4L and i think nopionline.com still sells it. and get a t3/t4 turbo. Lots of luck, you'll be blowing vipers out of the water soon.
