So my rich friend got an 04 maserati spyder. Im not sure which model but i do know it pumps about 350 hp, rwd, and light as hell.

The reason i don't "just do it" is bc its his dad's car and he doesn't get to drive it much.

Anyhow, he has 12" tires in the rear. Will i still take him on the launch? Will a maxed out 14b on my 2g pushing about 300hp keep up?

you sure your pushing 300? i'd like to think you got him til about 60 maybe. and thats a big maybe. but the same way these always end is you just gotta do it.

my guess is he overpowers his launch, you get a decent on and you got a good lead. then his overwelming HP kicks in and he reels you in for the win. but if your just doing like a 1/8 race you may, and thats a big may be able to do it.

but i also don't know alot about his ride. but like always, if its his dads, he probably can't drive it for $#!T

IF its anything like the Bently GT then you don't have a chance even with the launch.

I say do it. But set a speed limit like 90 or something that way he doesn't end up smashing up his Pop's car.

Hahaha its nothing like a bently. They got it for like 45k? maybe? Oh and he won't smash up his pap's car. His dad is a millionaire. This lucky SOB has driven a ferrari 430, audi rs6, slk 55 amg, a supercharged z06 (said its the fastest car he's ever driven). He's a pretty good driver for only being 18.



My goal for the end of the summer is 300. I've got a plan for it and im in the middle of dealing with some electrical probs (like always) but i should be close after i max out the 14b, port the mani and o2, exhaust, supra smic, and a few other goodies :D

I've never driven a maserati... give me a couple days, I might be able to find one.
