Hi there,
does anyone here who knows the throttle position sensor on the GDI engine? ive been reading the workshop manuals and it cant seem to find how to set/adjust the tps located on the throttle body/drive-by-wire. even so the adjustment/setting of the tps on the accelerator cable. is there any special equipment used to adjust these? or just use multimeter?
any inputs appreciated. Thank you very much!

Is there any specific reason yu need to adjust it. If its an error that its out of range and has never been adjusted teh TPS may just be bad. lots of GDI models i see depending on model the whole throttle body and TPS is a unit if its defective. The TPS on most teh GDI's have capped "break away" screws that ones they put the TPS in the position desised and screw it on the tip breaks off making it unremovable . But most others are an 8MM size to loosen the retaining screws. Avery small incriment of adjustment can affect fuel delivery so be careful.

thanks for the reply... my mate replaced the tps of my car suspecting that is the culprit but after replacement the problem got worst! now i installed back the original one but still seemingly unstable idle then the engine dies. the yellow paint marks that seal off the adjusting screws were gone... need to know the adjustment procedure to first correct the mistake before going to deal with other probable causes....
