Ok so I have a few questions:

1) I am about to buy a cheap turbo intake (here) since we all know piping is piping. now i also want to buy a K&N filter to go with it, however don't K&N filters use the factory airbox? if so how do I use a K&N filter with this intake since I won't have the airbox? :x

2) Where is a good place to buy braided steel oil lines and also where is a good place to buy vacuum lines?

3) I am soon going to have the custom tubular manifold made. how big should I make the runners and how big are the ports on a 1.8?

4) And last but not least, How big should I make the upper and lower intake piping?

1 do you have maf? if you do you need a maf adapter, I have a real mans one not one you find on ebay with only 3 inch inlet I have 4 and a half. Ask me if you need it.

If you don't just get a cone filter and strap it on the pipe.

2 Summit racing.

3....

4 2.5 hot side of turbo to throttle body.

5 I woulda gotten a better boost gauge.

1. you will have to fabricate it somehow. Im not sure if the 1.8 has a maf or map, but that intake is designed to be used with a maf.
2. you can get the steel braided lines from any 2g install kit (offered on just about every dsm website).
3. idk, can't help ya there.
4. 2.5 in should be adaquate for the ICP. If you intend on creating higher boost you may want 2.75 in.

Almost forgot, how much do you want for it?

I need to make sure the new adapter I am getting works with my new filter... 6 by 4 inch... its just gonna be silly!

But just name a price and pay for shipping and its yours.

2" intercooler piping will be cheaper and more manageable. since your not running over 20psi you will be just fine. It will also save you from buying any kind of step up adapters or anything like that.

Take your old manifold and measure the ports, then measure the gasket ports. use the biggest measurements and make the ports and runners the same size.

I have no idea but the ebay ones are plastic and like 3 inch mine came from 3SX.

This is the one.

You just need to find a filter that big. I think 3sx has them.

What size are K&N's? cause the intake I am buying comes with one of those (though I am not sure what size) but I also need a MAF linput lol i thought that is what you were gonna sell me haha. I dont see a harm in leaving it unplugged since im going to be tuning it with a AFC Neo do you?

You still need the maf to read the air coming in.
